In this user guide, I would like to help those ones who have just bought their new speaker and do not know how to pair and connect their Anker SoundCore 2 speaker to a Bluetooth device and do not know how to use it.

First, you have to press and hold the 'Power' button for 1 second to turn on the speaker.

The speaker plays a short starting sound and the indicator LED lights steady white.

If the SoundCore 2 has not been paired with any device yet it automatically starts in pairing mode.

It means that the blue Bluetooth LED light is blinking and the device is immediately discoverable, you can easily find it with your phone or computer.

How to pair and connect it to an android phone?

On your android phone go to the ‘Settings’, click on the ‘Connections’ and enable the Bluetooth of the phone.

Click on the ‘Bluetooth’ menu item and the phone starts to automatically scan the available devices.

After some seconds the SoundCore 2 appears in the list.

Click on the SoundCore 2.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound, the Bluetooth LED lights steady blue and it is connected together with the phone.

How to pair and connect it to an iPhone?

On your iPhone phone go to the ‘Settings’ and enable the Bluetooth of the phone.

Click on the ‘Bluetooth’ menu item and the phone starts to automatically scan the available devices.

After some seconds the SoundCore 2 appears in the list.

Click on the SoundCore 2.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound, the Bluetooth LED lights steady blue and it is connected together with the phone.

How to pair and connect it to a Windows 10 laptop?

Press the ‘Windows + I’ hotkey to open up the ‘Windows Settings’.

Click on the ‘Devices’ and turn on the Bluetooth of the computer.

Now click on the ‘Add Bluetooth or other device’ button.

Choose the ‘Bluetooth’ in the list.

Now the computer starts scanning the available devices and after some seconds the Anker SoundCore 2 appears in the list.

Click on the SoundCore 2.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound, the Bluetooth LED lights steady blue and it is connected together with the computer.

How to pair and connect it to a second device?

Before you pair the second device make sure the Bluetooth is turned off on the first device otherwise the speaker will automatically connect to it and does not start in pairing mode.

Alternatively, you can press the ‘Bluetooth’ button to set the speaker to pairing mode.

When the speaker is disconnected from the first device it enters automatically to pairing mode, the blue indicator LED starts blinking and the speaker is discoverable.

Now you can pair it with your second device.

How to use the Anker SoundCore 2?

You can turn on/off the speaker by pressing the ‘Power’ button for one second.

When turned on, SoundCore will automatically connect to the last connected device if available.

While playing music you can adjust the volume level by pressing the ‘Volume up/down’ buttons.

You can pause/play a song by quickly pressing the ‘Play’ button and you can skip a song by double pressing it.

You can activate Siri and other voice control software by pressing the ‘Play’ button for a second.

If you have an incoming call, you can answer it by quickly pressing the ‘Play’ button.

You can reject an incoming call by pressing the ‘Play’ button for one second.

You can put the current call on hold by pressing the ‘Play’ button or switch between the held call and the active call.

You can transfer the call between the speaker and the mobile phone by pressing the ‘Play’ button for a second.

How to charge it?

You can charge the speaker with the micro USB cable included in the box.

The charging port is situated on the right side of the speaker under a waterproof flap.

Connect the micro USB cable to it and the other end of the cable to the USB port of your computer or you can connect it to a wall plug if you have one for example for your phone.
